I am Zen Ooi, born in 1987. Grew up in Ipoh, Malaysia.
I joined a band called Blinded Truth in secondary school, and learned alot about music, friendship and life.

I Studied diploma in MultiMedia University, Malacca...
Met some true BadBoyz i honor and cherish, fell in love, experienced so much, grew so much...
And now currently studying in Lincoln University, NewZealand...
Found myself lost again in life... Life becomes meaningless when you pretend to be someone you're not...

I have a beautiful lovely family...

Life is good here, so peaceful, but still... so empty...
White Boys here act cool and gangsta, but yet bitch about assignments and studies...
White Girls are just guys trapped in female bodies...
Studying so hard just to be another slave to the society...
( Now i know MALAYSIAN CHICKS ROCKS!!!! LOL! Asian Pride baby! haha! )

I've been trying to fit in with the people here.. and today i just realized im trying to be someone im not...
And found that life is hard here...
Maybe i don't fit in with these people... But i guess i don't want to anymore...
Its my responsiblity to stay true to myself...
Bring back the night lights, the six strings, good liquer, the loud music, the BadBoyz...

Seriously, there’s nothing much here besides grass, beef and lamb…

My fingers miss the strings of the guitar,
My heart misses the presence of the family,
So far apart now we are,
Back home only hot girls would wear short shorts to be sexy,
Here more guys than girls wear them… Its fucking freaky…

So goodbye MMU,
Goodbye Southern Fried Chicken, The place I often eat with my dear friends…

HEHE. Sorry about that i got bored.. LOL.
Ok here are some pics i took on my 1st week of my new life here :

This here is my room... single, big enough for me, but you can hear almost everything's that happening outside the room from the inside so its not really a good place for studying or sleeping. Haha... But still life is good.

So first of all... Meet AJ! I met him during the flight to NewZealand. He was sitting beside me and i found out that my accomadation room used to be his previous one. Haha. He's from Sri Lanka. Crazy, Funny and love Gay jokes...

Left = Jonas, He's my neighbour in my hall. Malaysian.
He's a hygene freak who washes his clothes
whenever he's free. LOL!
He's good with computers and very cheeky.
Right = Jaq, or RJ ( Random Jaq ). Met her in the airport when went to Lincoln together. She's really a Happy-Go-Lucky person. But most of the time she's high... If you're wondering why, she loves to sniff plants and grass. She claims be to from Singapore but i think she's from Jamaica.

So yea we click together well. Im very glad i met them. Though i wish my malaysian MMU friends were here with me. Haha.
All 4 of us study different courses.

Anyway, im still suffering from the same disease i have when i was in MMU... Sleepamonia... sighs... Well thats what we usually call it " Falling Asleep In Class Sickness " ... Its natural and its no one's to blame. Sighs... Poor Zen...

Ok.. ahem ahem.. Well the trip started off ok... Besides the little adventure we had with the taxi driver from the airport running from the police. Hehe. I sooo love Taipei, good view, good weather, good food, good poeple, good transportations. Sighs.

It was a really tirring trip for us, because we had to walk the whole day everywhere, as we Malaysians aren't exactly used to walking.. Haha. It wasn't easy, looking for places to eat, where to go, deciding what to do... But we had ton's of fun. After the day we would all soak our legs in hot water in the bathtub... And after we're done... i don't think it was water anymore...

We stood at the beach.. and the strong cool wind just blew away our worries and fears... I love that place... But after that we went shopping again near the beach anyways... Hehe.

Well to me, it wasn't just another trip outside Malaysia, this trip was something special, as we were lucky enough to meet several new friends like Uncle jason who took us on a thrill ride in his car... And we screamed our hearts out up in the mountains. Taught me life, showed me courage... The feeling was amazing...

After the trip, i hugged everyone of them... and travel back alone by bus...
It was quiet.. it was peaceful..
I thought of the trip... and tears filled my eyes.......
It was a good trip... So Thankyou guys...
